Stars and starlets can dye their hair more and more often this year. The chic color gradient of the Ombres, which means something like “shadow”, is gaining more and more followers and captivates with its summery joie de vivre and subtle luxury. Although this hair styling can be done in all sorts of shades, Ombre Blond remains one of the most popular variations of Ombre ever. And not in its classic look, where the colors blend in relatively quickly and form a strong contrast, but much more in its newer forms. From the so-called baby lights over the Balayage technique to Sombre – the list of dyeing techniques is long and there is certainly the right thing for every taste.
What are baby lights?
Very delicate, delicate highlights in blonde – as kissed by the sun. In baby lights, the hair is lightly lit by a few blonde accents. Naturalness and pure romance! Normally, the highlights are colored around the face, so that the eyes and cheeks can show better. In this dyeing method, the hair is especially spared and the color transitions are very gentle and girlish.
Balayage or strobing?
With the trendy balayage technique the hairdresser becomes a real painter. Incidentally, “Balayer” in French means something like “sweeping”. The dyeing technique was called so by trendsetters namely, because the actual dyeing of the individual highlights by such Fegebewegungen performed by the hairdresser.
Well, unlike traditional foil highlights. Similar to babylights, Balayage’s hair looks natural. This staining technique fits almost all hair lengths and hairstyles. Beautiful curls are spiced up just as beautifully as smooth hair or waves.
Hair Strobing has been on everyone’s lips for some time now. Very often even both staining techniques are used as synonyms and many do not even know where the difference actually lies. Strobing was originally created as a make-up trend. Basically, this is about highlighting important parts of the face with more shine (with special creams, powders or pencils). The same principle now applies to the hair styled by strobing. Or in other words: Hair Strobing is a successful mixture as a balayage and foil baby lights. Just lovely!
Ombre Blond, reinterpreted!
To clarify any misunderstandings: Ombre Blond is not the same as Ombre Blond! What used to be just a strict two-color gradient from the darker hairline to the brighter hair tips has now been reinterpreted. Some hairstyle connoisseurs often speak of Ombre Blond with highlights or even Sombre – a much milder version of Ombre.
Ombre blond & Co. have conquered not only the international catwalks worldwide, but also the heart of every fashion conscious woman, wherever there is a real blonde.
