Bathed in color: elegant ideas for pink bathroom designs
I was not a fan of girls pink color in my younger years, but lately I’ve seen some fantastic uses of this color in bathrooms and they have given me a new appreciation for the distinctive hue. Rosa does not just need to be limited to the little girl’s bathroom.
A deep raspberry color can look super sophisticated in a master or guest bath. If you combine the pink color with crisp whites, strong shades of gray or even deep black, the bath will be very refreshing.
Take a look at seven stylish baths that look beautiful in pink along with tips on how to work with this bold color selection.
Pink color selection for bathrooms (from left to right)
I prefer bold pink, but if you want it brighter, you’ll find a shade that brings something cool to it – it will look less like cotton candy.

4. Very Berry 1002-1A, Valspar
This saturated raspberry shade is a nice background color for the fresh, white surface in the room
The charming barn door really stands out. Despite the intense color on the walls, the room feels open and airy.
If you prefer a finer touch of pink, let yourself be inspired by this beautiful bathroom with its soft pink mosaic tile wall
I think Rosa looks best with white and cool neutrals, but adding wood tones to the palette is a great way to help warm it up.
Hot Pink and Black make a cool and dramatic color combination
The bold accent wall color and the attractive framed mirror are the eye-catching elements in this room. Keeping the ceiling, worktop, floor and lower part of the walls white will make the room feel light and open.
Here’s the proof of why Rosa should not be too fussy or girly
This pretty bath gets a nice boost from the raspberry pink tiled countertop and upstand. Tiles are usually a cheaper choice for countertops than stone or quartz, so why would not you have a little fun with the paint?
Do not be afraid to use your favorite shade
This is a daring color choice for a closet – I love it when a homeowner is ready to break the neutrals and spice up the room with his favorite colors. This would be less successful if there were competing colors or elements in the room. But because the room has an otherwise restrained color palette and it’s not overly decorated or overcrowded, I think it looks fantastic here.
You can make it work when you balance it with the other colors and elements in the room.
Pink and strong orange make a fun and lively duo
It’s a highly energetic color combination that’s not particularly soothing, but it works well in a room where you do not spend a lot of time lazy, like a bathroom or guest bathroom. This would also be a nice palette for a pink-loving teenage bath.
Pink with spring green is another of my favorite color combinations
This soft and pretty bathroom shows how to use pink in a way that is not over your head and does not feel too sweet. It strikes the right balance between soft, pretty and soothing, yet chic.
