Old chairs in the garden with new function – attractive planters
Attractive planters
Does not that look great and funny? An old chair can get a new life in the garden – it can serve as a flower container or flower stand. How do you like the idea? She actually comes from interior designer Renee Buchhauser from San Diego. Instead of flowerbeds she wanted to have chairs in her landscape, whereupon she puts her flowerpots.
“I always try to find unusual ways to plant flowers in my garden and in this search I find quite unexpected things,” she says. Eight years ago, she came up with the idea of planting flowers in a chair.

Then Renee took an old chair frame, painted it colorfully, decorated it and gave it a unique personality. To further realize her idea, she simply removes the seat or cuts a hole in it and makes a wire mesh wire fence there. Then she forms a frame of coconut fibers, works on and gets a flower container, fills it with potting soil and then everything is ready for planting! The idea of Renee is easy to realize, but here is another tip from us for you:
Our garden tip for you: If you have decided to use your old chairs as a flower stand or flower container in the garden, then you should paint them regularly so that the rain does not damage them completely.

Chartreuse also looks good on its own, you do not even need to combine this flower, but if you want to emphasize its beauty, then you can think of mating with silver-colored old weeds, white cabbage, pink Mexican heather, and blue lobelia.
Colorful: If you can not choose a single color, combine several colors together! This red-blue-yellow chair serves as home to fragrant mint, big fat leaf, daisies and golden cockade flower.
