House hit by Tornado
The house is ideally placed “upside down” and its pitch and crevices make it look like it had been lifted in the air by a tornado.
New architectural style – attractive architecture
But do not be fooled! That is certainly not the case! The Polish architects Irek Glowacki and Marek Rozhanski purposely built this house in this “upside down” style so they can entertain people.
The building was mainly intended as a tourist attraction and indeed attracts many visitors. The most interesting thing, though, is that not only the exterior design but also inside it all looks like it was lifted up in the air by a tornado.
Cheerful nursery decor – lots of color and fun
You can see toilets, dining tables and even cars on the ceiling. This great design idea shows a totally twisted house, which looks completely as if it had fallen from the sky.
Consequently, you will not feel very comfortable when you are in it. Because when everything is upside down, you instinctively feel insecurity. It feels like everything is about to collapse right now.
The kitchen and the dining area – modern and turned upside down
It may even be that nausea and physical discomfort occur, because your whole body will feel that everything is wrong here.
Nevertheless, the Terfener “upside down” house is one of the biggest attraction in Austria in general and probably the largest in Terfen.
