Malta holidays – discover a fascinating country
Unforgettable moments in the south with a Malta vacation
Malta is an incredible country in almost every way that a common tourist can think of. It is really difficult not to take this country in the heart, having ever walked on the streets of the towns and villages there, which are filled with so much history and wonderful Mediterranean nature.
Most buildings are painted in yellow. This also helps make everything look sunnier and more radiant.
You can easily get to Malta from anywhere
Malta lives from tourism. That’s why the connections to all corners of Europe are very well developed. You can easily travel there for a few days, as well as wonderfully combine your stay with another excursion.

A little more history
The trips to Malta are very appropriate for people who love history. So let’s say something more about that too. It is a former British colony. The official language is English. You need special adapters for the phones and the cars drive on the left side of the road.
The Cathedral of Mellieha
It’s all very comfortable
The distances here are pretty short and also the prices for public transport are more than cheap. You can take a daily or weekly ticket and easily reach all the places you want.
Unfortunately, you also have to expect a lot of traffic jams, especially in the high season.

The beaches
If you want to visit the beaches, then you would rather go to the western part of the island. But do not worry too much about that. The beaches are covered with rocks and they are really crowded in the season. If you want to spend more time on the beach, choose a different country.

Stroll in the evening at the port of San Ġiljan
After all, there are some beautiful destinations, which would be well worth it in this regard. There is some small island near San Ġiljan. Golden Bay is also a great destination to go to.
Also consider Tuffieha Bay
The sights
Within ten days, you would be able to visit most of the sights. But to give you more time, it is best to take 2 weeks off. San Ġiljan is the one destination you should not miss. In the capital, Valletta, you’ll probably come by more than once, as you travel from one city to another.

The majestic Valletta
Mdina / Rabat is the other town that you can visit as well. It is the old capital. It is known as the quiet city. It is also worthwhile to come here for a walk alone. The cathedral is beautiful and worth a visit.

The last recommendation we want to make is Mellieha. This village is in the north of the island of Malta. It has a very long sandy beach. Here are the two great beaches – Tuffieha and Golden Bay of which was just mentioned. It is from here fairy tale excursions organized, which are offered over the water. You should take the time for it! It’s certainly worth it.
