Yin Yang meaning
The energies Yin and Yang and their meaning for the harmony in our organism
We want to start today’s article with a warning. There are far too many would-be experts who speak out about the Eastern wisdom, philosophies, beliefs and sources of energy.
In fact, even the Eastern philosophers are searching for something.
Their religions and beliefs do not claim to be complete. Rather, they give us well-founded theories about certain kinds of energy that can shape our being and destiny. Eastern philosophies try to open our eyes to it, so we should handle it more consciously. However, we can do the latter even if we do not know the meaning of terms like yin and yang.
Strive for the perfect balance between yin and yang
When the energies just mentioned control our everyday lives, we are all aware of it on a subconscious level. So when we listen to our intuition and body, we can achieve harmony in our everyday lives and lives without having read a single line about Eastern philosophy.
But as we like to think (more often than feel), explanations help us. They help us to rationalize and put the whole thing into words. Especially in this concern, the Eastern philosophies are of fundamental importance.

Yin and Yang: meaning and characteristics
Yin and Yang, according to Eastern philosophers, are the two energies that most determine our existence. They are the same kind of matter as the soul. Like these, however, they are also strongly associated with our physical existence.
The yin and yang energies have the following characteristics:
Yin: Female, passive, cold, dark, negative, introverted, gentle, low, reserved;
Yang: Male, active, hot, bright, positive, extrovert, hard, high, outward.
Simplified, they are often defined as male and female energy
We all have the two energies within us. That would not sound funny to anyone. Even after Western knowledge, we have in our organism, female and male characteristics, regardless of gender.
The balance between these is very important for us to be healthy and to feel happy.
Exclude difficult to digest food from the menu
You probably know the expression: “You are what you eat”. Literally that’s not true. But there is a lot of truth in that. Hard-to-digest food has few beneficial nutrients, but lots of fat and sugar. We are assuming that. Ultimately, we are invested in a larger proportion of sugar. They use this type of food to promote only the yang, the male energy. Find a balance by integrating easily digestible food, which requires a little more preparation time.
In other words, you must not forget that every type of food has yin and yang energy. You should balance between the two within the daily menu.
